Dakota Lynn Davis is an abstract artist, mother of many beasts, copious consumer of coffee, cocktails and eldritch entertainment. A New Mexico native, the beautiful state suiting many renowned artists never fit Dakota like the proverbial glove. She has since relocated with her partner to Baltimore, former home to one of her primary inspirations, Edgar Allen Poe. So far she has found the east coast intensely palatable, despite the lack of green chile.

When not in the studio creating or at the computer with her day job marketing for an indie roleplaying game publisher, Dakota can be found mingling at the local goth club and poly meet-ups, sampling local brews, or riding her motorcycle.

This blog and portfolio represents Dakota’s wide range of interests and hobbies primarily in the form of fine art, costume creation, and design from interior to graphic to fashion. Written musings, related to such topics or not at all, are also frequent.

Most visual representation of Dakota’s projects is self-derived. However, a photographer she is not. So, on the occasions she partners with a professional photographer, they will be credited within the project.

Information on where to see her work may found here.
